Alexander has been working in Information Services since 2001 in various positions in the company, as a junior programmer, software developer, Project Manager, Head of Oracle Department, Deputy Director and Director in various departments. Since 2015 he has been the Director of Systems Integration and Innovation.
He started working as a programmer in the late 90s. He has worked on many different projects ranging from hardware driver development to large information systems for the private and public sectors, including e-services for citizens and businesses, election information systems and smart cities. He has worked across all mainstream technology platforms, and has also worked on numerous projects using specialist niche solutions.
He holds certifications in Oracle, Microsoft and IBM technology programs as well as CEH, PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL, AMSIS, CMMI. He is a speaker at numerous international technical conferences including BlackHat, DEFCON, OpenFest, WebTehch and many more. He has taught at New Bulgarian University and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
Alexander finds time to explore and apply various niche technologies for specific projects, and has implemented numerous low-level solutions. He is a strong supporter of open source and open solutions.
As an information security consultant, Alexander has led technical audits in Europe, America and Africa for numerous financial and public institutions.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems and Technologies and a Master's degree in Computer Business Informatics from the Technical University of Sofia, a Master's degree in Electronic Business and e-Government from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
