Stamo Petkov has been part of the Information Services team since 2012. He started working in the company as a software developer and went through all the steps of his career to become the Head of Information and Communication Technologies, Microsoft Technologies Department. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry.
His professional interests are extremely broad and include embedded technologies and automations as well as various aspects of software architectures and application systems security. His main goal is to build stable, secure and efficient systems in the public administration to improve the service to the citizens in Bulgaria.
Stamo Petkov is a regular participant in international conferences as a speaker on various topics related to information technology and is a lecturer at New Bulgarian University and SoftUni, as well as a certified Microsoft trainer. For three consecutive years he has been ranked among the Top 100 most influential IT personalities in Bulgaria.
He holds a number of certifications among which are: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: App Builder, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, Microsoft Specialist: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, Top 10 Web Threats, Advanced Web Threats, Mastering Key Public Infrastructure.
He graduated from the Technical University, Sofia with a Master's degree in Computer Engineering.
