The personal record now has its own “Health library”

A new module is available in the National Health Information System (NHIS) and the mobile app eZdrave. It brings together verified information from the Ministry of Health, partner institutions, and experts from various fields.

The module was developed by Information Services and is located in the “Health” section of the electronic patient record. Currently, the library includes over 70 publications— from early baby care, through diseases and vaccines, to topics such as healthy eating, the risks of smoking and alcohol, child safety on the road, obesity, and physical activity. The content of the Health Library will be continuously enriched and updated to provide citizens with current and useful information.

This is another new feature in the eZdrave app. In the same section, there is also a “Long-Term Care” module, which provides personalized information. Each user can see what check-ups and tests they are entitled to based on their gender and age. The main health information is located in the “Personal Record” section, where users can access data on medical visits, issued referrals, test results, prescribed medications, administered vaccines, hospitalizations, and more. Through their personal electronic file, parents automatically gain access to the files of their children under 18.

To ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from the functionalities of the electronic file, the Ministry of Health and regional health inspectorates are conducting a summer campaign under the slogan “With a click – you control the system.” Until the end of September, mobile teams across the country will assist citizens in accessing their health file via mobile phone. The current schedule of the service points is published on the Ministry of Health’s website.
